Icod de los Vinos on the Trail
Discovering Icod de los Vinos through its routes is a different way to explore our municipality, walking along paths that connect its history, neighbourhoods and landscapes.
The routes start from different points across the municipality, including the historic centre, neighbourhoods in the mid-altitude areas and higher parts of Icod de los Vinos, offering a variety of routes through very different landscapes. As we continue, the scenery changes: banana plantations, vineyards and old rural paths give way to monteverde forest, the extensive pine forests of the Corona Forestal or coastal landscapes.
Along the way, we will discover chapels, historic estates and other places that form part of the history and heritage of Icod de los Vinos.
Volcanic landscapes, with Mount Teide in the background, and the Atlantic Ocean are present along many of these routes, offering spectacular panoramic views from which to appreciate the natural richness and diversity of the municipality.
